This is the bulb holder I ordered
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00967V7BO
Although its taken nearly 4 weeks to arrive.
I used the original fog lamp bulb which came with the lights.
I then checked the wiring to find which wire was live etc.
in the plug that goes to the orange resister block the green is live and white is earth.
I then looked at the rear of the lamp and where the led is there's a lamp reflector, I didn't split the lamp I just levered that up at one side to break it off, once I'd done that I filed it away to make it smooth and so It doesn't foul the new bulb holder.
Once enough clearance was there I fitted the bulb holder and chopped the wire going to the red led.
I then connected my new bulb holder to the connector which used to run to the orange resister.
Bingo that was it.
Took 20 mins to do.
I was in two minds about having to break the reflector part but there's no other way to do it. Once filed it looks like its alway been like that, although its not visible from outside anyway.

Need Help, got mine today, but no idea how you got the old bulb out and new bulb holder in, contact me when you get this please

Marshy said it was easy, i didnt find it all that easy. Its not thats its hard, you just have to go nice and easy. I used a flathead screwdriver and just levered it back and forth till it cracked and snapped in small pieces. Then pull all the broken bits out through the hole. It feels like your gonna break it.

Once its all out, i just connect the wires to the end of the resistor wires (gold  bit with red wires) pushed into the connectors so it had full contact with the plates and then just hot glue gunned it in place. Tested and all working sweet.

Glad i had the balls to do it, as i was thinking i would have to keeping swapping lights over for MOT. Any problems just give us a shout.

spoke to the seller, apparently the RHD version are STILL 2 months away from being in stock. looks to me like they're full of it.

they were reluctant to sell me the units, insisting they couldn't be modified. anyone in the north west willing to give me a hand when they arrive?

Honestly they arnt too difficult, only you are super heavy handed you wont damage them.I would order the adapter 3 weeks before you want to install though. Im in Bradford, fair bit away from you.
