hi just got a 2002 gti just noticed a plastic flap with what appears to be a sensor in it above the rear view mirror, what on earth is it for??? or am I thick??

get a pic up.... could just be the center sun visor with a mike for a hands free kit attatched to it  :undecided:

yes! just been told its a sun visor to stop glare above rear view mirror.
