Waste gate loader
« on: 12 May 2013, 11:31 »
Hey people I've had my golf since feb an I love it it's my first turbo and also my first vdub as before I was all vauxhall but fancied a change anyway I've got 1.8t aum and I know on these engines you need a diverter valve not a dump valve I was just wondering other than getting an air cone induction kit what other ways is there to make the waste gate chatter loader without messing up the engine? And if I wanted a split DV so it both diverts and lets it to the atmosphere which would be the best to buy ? Just stealth is good but who doesn't like the sound of a load DV and waste gate chatter :-)

Thank you input appreciated :-)

If you concentrate really hard on being less of a chav for a few days it'll sound just fine as it is.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Get a 007p with a induction kit and the noise is good. Acceptable without being like a jap air blaster.
I'm sorry to say but you won't get chatter as the chatter is a result of a bad setup and is far from a good thing (is actually the sound of your car slowly dieing)
Hope this helps.
