Air box pipes quick fix please help!!!

Can anyone tell me where the brown pipe goes from the side of my air box please? I've taken it off to fit an induction kit and now I can't remember where it goes! Doh!

Brown pipe? is it a vac pipe to the hot air control in the airbox

There are 2 little pipes, black and brown, Both go into the engine side of the air box next to each other, one goes into the pipe at the top of the inlet manifold (the one I had to block when fitting the induction kit) but I can't see where I need to correct the other pipe to? I've taken the induction kit off btw for now, couldn't find where to fit the bracket or how to get the sensor into the back of the cone so going to investigate more.

Can anyone with an ABF have a quick look at their standard airbox and let me know where the brown pipe goes to from the airbox???

I'd have a look if i had the pipes on my car! The one going into the top of the manifold is blocked off but i have no idea where the other one goes!

In the end I blocked off the one at the top of the  throttle body and used a small pipe to connect the two small pipes together on the air box !  I never did find out where the other brown one went and since then I've NEVER had a decent idle speed, always about 1100-1200 rpm.  I'll be following this thread as I'd like to know myself !

My idle speed is a bit iffy too...i know it's not the ISV as I have fitted a new one and there are no other air leaks

Very frustrating as I cleaned out the inlet manifold, resealed the ISV and tightened pipes, replaced vac lines, replaced filter with OEM...  I'm going off topic so I'll stop, but I know porting the throttle body wasn't the problem as it has never ticked over at 850-900rpm !

Mine seems to be running ok, but there wouldn't be a pipe there unless there needs to be. Keep looking at abf engines on google to see but although the black ones are all going to the top of the inlet manifold (when i took that off it was blowing air out so thats going into the sensor in the airbox now, when i was fitting the K&N it said i should block this off), there doesn't seem to be many that have the brown pipe going anywhere, those that have, disappear off towards the suspension strut but i can;t see where it links to.

Should have paid more attention when i took it off really shouldn't i???
