19s fit nicely, 18s are spot on as most people have them fitted, will look like a 4x4 with out suspension mods though pal

shouldnt have any issue pal, only time you would is if your lowered you'll find rubbing  :lipsrsealed: is a bit of a pain in the backside

fitting 15mm spacers up front and 20mm out back will set it off nicely

going lower you'd need to sort out the ARB as previously mentioned

Here's a pic fella they are on a mk4 now but wanted a expert opinion to make sure I didn't need spacers ect but looking at the wheels will the standard wheel nuts be ok or would I need longer ones

nice

you could add spacers just to square it off, as said it shouldnt really cause and issue as its just the wheels, never considered the bolts really but they should be fine to use your other ones, if your not too sure you could take them to you local wheel and tyre dealer to check, shouldnt have issues, easiest way is to remove and measure the thread depth of your current wheels againts the new ones? you obviously need longer bolts for spacers and most kits come with the bolts anyways

cheers fella to be honest i didnt really want to add spacers ect just wanted to do a straight swap fair enough the wheels are 60 miles away but worth the travel i reckon i had a issue before with a set of 17's i had but they were aftermarker wheels but got rid of them being on a mk4 golf i know they are 5x100

Is it true putting bigger wheel on makes the ride more bumpy
