ARB problems even with ajustable links
« on: 02 May 2013, 20:55 »
so I first put the links on and they rubbed (where the arb bolts thru) as they were set too high

so then I adjusted them to the lowest setting and they now sit like this

now my question is, is it still set too high? (or too low  :undecided: )
should I cut the drop link down a bit?
can anyone post pics of how theirs sit... as a non rubbing thou!!!!

I can only ever feel it going very slowly turning right (as in just pulling away but not on full lock)
cant work it out as its not touching when I took the pic (and that is on full lock)

Nothing it's just how long I'm taking to fit it!!!

Unless its something else running like the brakes it something bUt I can really feel it thru the pedals, a real grind, but the marking not the drive shaft hasn't got worse

you checked your pads? if theres no marks on the ARB and your feeling it through the brake pedal then theres a problem with the brakes i would of though?  :undecided:

And also a tiny mark on the spring, and a slight mark in patches of the inner wall on the tyre so 15mm spacers might be the answer on the front

Not that low maybe 35mm

There is about 20mm gap between the spring and the tyre thou.... Think it's where the oil return is occasionally touching... Anyone else have this problem? There's nothing that can be done I wouldn't want to try and bend it as it might break!!!   :undecided:
