Silicone hoses for 2.0 gti
« on: 01 May 2013, 13:04 »
Hey,

Anyone got any ideas as to whether/if there are silicone hose kits for AQY 2.0 engine? Not particularly fussed about extra gains etc, just like the idea of a matching colours in engine bay :D. All the kits I have seen seem to be for 1.8T engines. After red hoses if possible :D
Also are these things which have to be declared on insurance?

Thanks

Which hoses do you want to replace? The kits for the 1.8T replace boost hoses which the 2.0 obviously doesn't have due to the lack of a turbo...

could always buy some silicone vac line.

think its 3mm you would need for most lines (but youde have to check that) and shouldnt need too much cause cant really think of many lines on the 2.0.
