Who's got one leg shorter?
« on: 25 April 2013, 16:03 »
Shattered my right femur about 7 years ago and always suffered with back pain since but never linked it together untill now.

I'm running a lot lately to get on the weight, almost there but now getting really bad pain on the left side of my lower back. Looking in the mirror my right hip looks lower too.

I've got a appointment in two weeks to see my GP, but I would like to know if there's someone else that can help? I just want it measured so I can get wedges.

Any advise guys? Not ran for a week now and I can't take it no more. Need to go running lol

My right leg is shorter.

It caused a herniated disc about a year ago which left me pretty much immobile for a month.

I went to a private osteopath because the NHS process was taking way too long... Physio, MRI, xray.

I felt so much better even after one session and they gave me a heel lift for my right foot.

I still need to go back occasionally, but it's worth it.

It's usually £40 a go and you'll need to go once a week for about a month and then just as and when you need it.

Some osteo places are £20 a session, but do your research first. The first one I went to was a holistic chiropractor and they barely touched me. The osteopath beat the crap out of me and I felt the effects immediately.

Sports injury specialists are where you'll probably get the best treatment.
