Had a really sh!te week as it is, so just add the rape to the list.

Start work on Monday and everything is going against me starting. My rear bushes need doing as well by Monday to.

Not much I can do now regarding the price I paid, apart from shoot myself, which sounds appealing at this moment in time

what i'd suggest is for even half the price you paid is get the 3" turbo back ebay special, keep the exhaust you had "proffesionally fitted" and just swap them over when it comes to MOT time, thats obvioulsy once you've got some more fundage obviously otherwise at least you got it sorted, also have a shop about for bushes, DPM and Awesome do deals on these if you ask nicely and then its just a case of taking it to a vag specialist or seeing if theres any VW clubs in your local area with discounts at local garages and get it done there?

If he's just shelled out an extortionate amount of money for one exhaust he's hardly going yo go and splash more money on another.

yeh this is true i suppose, sorry my brain hasnt fully engaged yet, it is only 0815  :lipsrsealed:

in that case wait for something to go pear shaped with the exhaust as it should have 1 years warranty depending with the garage and then ask for your money back and then get the ebay one lol

Got a 3 year warranty with it so not all bad.

With regards to my rear bushes, I thought they needed doing but I got them checked today when they fixed the exhaust clamp and they said they are both fine.

Is a strange one, when I am in the car on my own it runs and sounds fine, someone else gets in the car and the back end creaks very loud. Even when I start the car up with two people in it creaks loud. Start it up on my own, no creaking.

This all has happened since my new exhaust has been fitted  :undecided:
