Turbo bhp

Hi all could anyone tell me what a stranded
Turbo can handle BHP. As think my turbo has blown
So looking to replace but with what?

it would help if you told us what year your car is but prob 150bhp as standard  :smiley:

Any idea what engine code yours is?
1999 1.8t AGU, KNN Panel filter, Smoothed air box, Custom CAI, Forge 007 dv, REVO stage 1, 3" eBay TBE. Audi TT quickrack.

Yea sorry for lack of info. 2001 Aum engine. And today took
It for a drive and gave it a bit and a bit of smoke
Came out of the exhaust not much but then started her
Back up after about an hr and smoke poored out then stopped
Drive her home no smoke even on boost but have used some oil
Any ideas.

Sounds like it could be the turbo oil seals. They can be fixed, you could even do it yourself if you're up for it.
I'm guessing you'll have a ko3s turbo, you should be able to hit the low 200's with a bit of work. As for replacing it it depends on your budget.
