1 mile driven = 1 hour being repaired

..and what are ferrari mechanic rates per hour?
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

I broke it.........
Got home last night, and it was only running on 3 cylinders....oops.

It was running ok all the way home, until I realised I was going to be late for picking up my pizza, so I gave it some stick. Taking it to stealership in the next hour, so now its their problem!!

Fezza is still in garage, they have traced the fault to something wrong with throttle position switch or throttle potentiometer, and its a faulty speedo sender that makes speedo needle wobble when you go over 110 (not that it happens on the public highway officer).

Heard from dealership this afternoon....

Prognosis was a broken camshaft. To repair that, replace the two cooling fans that were shot to bits, and carry out 70k mile service - How much? Nearest wins absolutely nothing at all apart from my admiration....(I'll give you a clue - It's quite expensive).

On the plus side, the Ferrari is fixed, and the bill is just over £200, so I'm counting my blessings there.....
