Great discount, if the dealers offered me 10% I would probably sign there and then. I think when I take my car in on saturday I might have to have a word with the salesman and drop in the broadspeed and drive the deal prices. See what they say.
On Order - Mk 8.5 Clubsport Pure White, Queenstown, DCC.
MK 7.5 R Pure White, Pretoria Silver, DCC, Rear Camera.
Gone - MK 7 GTI Carbon Grey, Rear Camera, Service Pack.
Gone - MK 6 GTI  Reflex Silver, Monza Shadows, RCD 510, Rear Camera, Bluetooth, Tyre Pressure Sensor, Xenons Convenience pack, Service Pack :)
Gone - MK 5 GTI Reflex Silver, Monza II 18's, Luxury Pack, Mulitchanger

I managed an 8% total discount off the price by simply being reluctant to jump in on the sale and taking a while to secure the deal. They knew I was close to placing the order so kept offering more discount until i got them as low as they were prepared to go :) Definitely pays off.
Current - MK7 Golf GTI - Tornado Red, 5 Door, DSG, Performance Pack, Dynamic Chasis Control, Panoramic Sunroof, Discover Navigation, Dynaudio.

On Order - MK7 Golf R - Pearlescent Black, 3 Door, DSG, Vienna Leather, Discover Nav Pro, Rear View Camera, High Beam Assist, Keyless Entry, Dynaudio (Tech Pack)

All gone.

Now;

MK7 Golf R - Lapiz Blue, 5 Door, DSG, Carbon Nappa, Discover Nav Pro.

If a Salesmans rude, take your big bucks elsewhere, they are clearly not worthy, many dealers in most parts of the UK.  Keep the haggling fun and playful with a smile and you'd be amazed at whats possible.

Also a half naked hottie in the showroom will always help.*

*Half naked hottie can be of either sex and should be chosen based on the salesman gender and sexuality.

61 Plate GTD 5dr, Shadow Blue, 18" Charleston's, Flat Tyre Indicator, Cruise Control, Bi-xenon (With Dynamic Curve), Storage Pack, Winter Pack and RCD 510.
