Get a friendly neighbour or a pal, not your wife! One of you needs to prize it open then hold it open and the second person opens it further and it should come off. Use some swan necks to grip and squeeze it

No not yet, just been sent some details of a new one to the market but I think they're suggesting I get rid of my engine cover and I ain't willing to do that.

thats why i got the tts cover, i think engine looks dire without and a biatch to keep clean
