I've got ACC with 19" alloys (mk6) and though I think the differences are subtle, glad I specced it, given the state of the UK's roads.  Definitely get more road feel with 19's and comfort mode just takes the edge off what could be quite a harsh ride around town.  Would say I use comfort and normal mode 50/50.

It's a marmite  thing, I loathed it on the rocco, our mk5 always road better, glad its an option as the money goes a long way to a decent suspension set up, I think my beef is it is linked to the steering weighting

I'd be far more inclined to order it if I were ordering 19" wheels - that comfort mode really softens the blow on potholes in winter. I hope my standard (18" wheels) GTD doesn't come with Dunlops - they really are fragile when it comes to potholes (sidewall bulges on 2 tyres over 1 winter, never happened on my second roc with Pirellis).
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....
