« on: 04 April 2013, 22:40 »
As title really. Does anyone know if my 2001 golf gti turbo is plug and play to retro fit a multichanger into boot? Is the wiring loom tucked away somewhere etc?? Cheers

No mate, wiring loom came when you got the CD changer spec'd when buying the car.  If you want to retro fit you'll have to buy a loom and wire it through the car.

The in-dash 6 disc is a direct plug and play though.

Piece of wee wee to fit.

You'd be better off with an after market HU with iPod/USB connectivity.  That's what I do, my 6 CD boot changer has been sat unused for over 2 years now
