Yes it drives fine in the dry.
I used to own a 53 plate mondeo before this and it would drive through anything. These golfs are sh!t when it comes to water .
Are they all like this and everyone has to drive so slow a motability scooter overtakes you

In all serious no they not there summit amiss with ye engine some where
