I would just go to cyprus and take a boat trip to egypt to see the pyramids and cairo museum,egypt is a dump once you have seen the sites thats it.
I agree With that in a sense but sorry the resort i stayed at there was no need to go anywhere else and it was epic!! I was nearly 3.5K for our holiday and it was 1 of the best I have been on... Guess it comes down to how much you pay 2 friends of mine spent a grand and hated it same friends spent about the same and Loved it...
