Well it's good to know this may be going on.  At least then those of us with Service Plan can start asking a few choice questions when the time comes.

Agree. thanks for the heads up on this one. Useful info.
Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.

If it does say that, which I would be suprised if it did, as I take what people in dealerships say with a large pinch of salt as most have no clue and always talk 95% nuts.
I'm sorry but anyone who does not read what's included in a service plan and compares it to the cars service book is too gullible.
The same as people who don't mark the service parts and check that the work promised to be done is actually done.
These places are each independent businesses and ran as such, time is money, they don't give a crap.
VW finance only pay them a fraction of what a normal punter does.
Always check they have done what is suppose to be done.
My third year brake fluid was not done. I got them to do it. I checked they did everything the service book and plan said should be done.
VW list everything in the service book that should be done, that's why its there, for owners too read so they know.
