Slam panel

Can anyone send a picture of how the original grill fits the slam panel as i suspect mine is incorrect!!!

Yo!

There's clips at the top two corners, with two more clips along the top of the grille... Along with 2 x screw holes.

Then there's another 4 clips (iirc) at the bottom of the grille which clips onto the slam panel center cross-member.

That's about it I believe. If I manage to get my bonnet un-jammed tonight, I'll take a pic for you  :wink:

Mine has nothing onthe bottom and only two on the top it looks wrong!!!

Looks like a few of your clips have snapped off over time - its pretty common.

Replacement grilles aren't expensive (I just got a mint twin headlamp grille for £20)

Or it could be a job for zipties until you find one!  :wink:

there is two clips missing from the slam panel... that screws are meant to go into.. plus the slam panel seems to be a bit mis shaped where the bottom of the grill sits.. im assuming the bottom tabs rest in the lips of the slam pnael that are turned vertical at the same points  and not under them?.... but on the other hand I now need a new grill :( (I broke it) and some sort of degree to make it fit around the lights and stay attached to the car!!!!!!

so.... still cant get the grill to sit properly... I suspect its the slam panel bottom rail that is misshaped.. almost certain!! anyone know the best place to get a new one?
