Garage Rental
« on: 07 March 2013, 23:57 »
Hey guys,

I'm looking currently for a garage to rent to my car in whilst its not in use.

A lot of you guys must have use of a garage that may not be necessarily yours so I'm wondering what you pay monthly for use of one?

I have been given an option of one that is around 10 mins drive from my house. I was told the price was £80 a month and sounded like he was doing me the favour for giving it to me for that price?! I was thinking £50 was about reasonable for a garage that a car will literally be parked in and thats it (no works on the car)?

In the great area I live, I can get a garage for £75 per year, only problem is that it is a mile away.

I used to rent a garage from the local council, that was about 60 a month - That was in Cambridgeshireland.

A parking space where I used to live was 50 a month and that was 'cheap'

Don't worry I am thinking of going for it, only thing is that you cannot keep a eye on the car.

I've already searchd high and low between friends and family close by but have only got one other option at the moment. its a good 6 miles away, 30 mins at least in traffic with a friend. Thats £40 a month which i think is more than reasonable.

The only option I have next is the one mentioned above which is still 10 mins away by car but at £80!
