Hi ppl. Not long had my golf 1.8t it came with a manual boost controller an a dv fitted on the cold side
Just wounded if its worth taken off its set to 1 bar its bin fitted properly but the fuel is unbelievable I getin 25/30 to the gal
  :sad: dono if this is normal or if its coz she boosting so much. She defo quicker then a normal 1.8t but have no idea wot els is done. Bin told the is a ko3s but think its just a ko3 an was told she is mapped but yet agen I think that was a load of bull.

Any help would be most appreciated. O an its the agu engine.

Rip it all out, back to standard...get it running right and go from there.  N75 is more than capable of doing a brilliant job of controlling boost.....even up to 5-600bhp.

Probably feels proper jerky on part throttle i bet?

To be fair 25/30mpg is all that I see out of mine. As said above though, get rid of the manual controller.

haha its funy u shuld say that chris down the motoway if u just fether the peddle it dos do that

so that explanes that 1 lol thanks.

i seen sumin about a n75 upgrade? any ideas?

an i take it if she is already chiped when i put it back on the n75 i should be able to tell by the boost?

Put latest revision N75 on....all the J valve or race valve is a huge myth

With N75 correctly plugged in....you usually get around 7psi stock boost unmapped.

ok i think i got it.

the silver plug on intake is that the n75?

on mine i have silver pipe coming up from turbo area then that has a T witch came with boost controller
so 1 gos to charge pipe i think an other gos to intake b4 the turbo if ya get me an the controller is inbwteen that 1. i think the is another 2 pipes that have bin conected together not shure tho.

will it be easyer if i post a pic up?
