I'm in love!!

With Collinite 845!! :-*

Finally got round to picking up a bottle of this a few weeks ago and put a couple of coats on last week while i had the chance and it's fantastic! The guys on here that said it's good for colder temp application were spot on, it goes on like butter and spreads soooo far, after leaving for a while to haze it comes off really easy too with a microfibre, i've put another coat on today and after a wash the paint feels so slick when drying, i've even done my side windows after seeing some videos on youtube. :)

The sheeting and beading is great and it gives a nice crisp shine on my steel grey paint! For £15 it's the bargain of the century!!

Thanks for the recommendations guys! 8)

Best waxes are from colinite imho. The colour charge waxes or ones priced over £60 are just hype.

From now I rarely touch any other waxes. Coli or nano sealants and that is it (prep'd properly obviously)

Also a fan of Collinite waxes. I use collinite 915 (black car) and it gives great depth of shine, but always up for recommendations so might give the 845 a go next time. Good price too. :smiley:

Lol finally ;)

It's a dark horse is colly 845, like you state it's super easy to apply and remove and leaves a real slick finish and lasts well too, you should see 6 to 8 months out of it if you maintain it well,
You can also use it on rims to add protection though I don't think it's lasts as well fk1000p on that front from my findings anyway.
I will never be without a bottle :)

I've used Collinite 845 for the past 18 months and think it's great. One of the best 'easy on, easy off' waxes I've ever used - good value, really good durability, a little goes a long way and I prefer it to Autoglym HD wax, which I'd used previously. The water is still beading on my car after the last application 5 months ago, which was applied over Poorboys Black Hole glaze on my Carbon Grey paintwork, and the car had a really deep, wet-look shine.

In some of the reviews I've read, people have criticised the packaging. I couldn't care less what the container looks like; it's what's inside the bottle that's important.

Gone but not forgotten;
2016 Polo GTI; Blue Silk
2011 mk6 Golf GTD; Carbon Grey
2007 mk5 Golf GT (2.0 170bhp TDI version); Deep Black Pearl
2002  mk4 Golf GTI (the 150 bhp diesel version); Deep Black Pearl

I really like the packaging tbh, nothing fancy and it smells really industrial unlike most of my other waxes. :smug:
