hi there just a quick one the engine cover has a rattle and is loose is it easy to take it off to tighten the bolt cheers

You need a bit of a measured tug at the cover as it can be a b*tch to get off. Start at the right rear (when looking at the engine) and pull upwards taking care to hold onto a thick bit of plastic lest you crack the cover.
I suspect one or more of the rubber grommets aren't securely seated into the engine cover.

Might be worth trying to push it down first? My mk6 cover comes off dead easy with a little tug but if the TFSI cover is awkward to come off like bacillus says then try pushing it on first.

sorted the problem yesterday one of the pop on brackets at the front was loose and is bolted to the engine ,simply tightened it up and put back together , jobsa gudun
