Golf's should sound a bit deeper than standard but not too loud, just sounds daft.

If its properly fitted and damage/leak free i can't see why it would fail.

Only if they're excessively loud and/or not in decent condition. However they don't have DB meters so I don't know how they test that...

My old vts failed for being loud. That had a jatex  :huh:
