Mate ive had a few golfs over the years and ive had certian cars which have given me real grief so I know how you feel.I dont know what problems your having but theres always people on here that know there sh!t that will help and advise best they can.Mk3s are pretty straight forward cars and most faults can be put right without spending stupid amounts of money unlike some newer version of the golf.I think you should stick with it maybe do a new post of all your issues so you can get some help and advise and hopefully sort your car out at least once youve sorted it you know the strength of the car.

Everytime you fix something thats something that isn't going to wrong again soon, and it can't keep going wrong forever. Fix it dude.

How long is a piece of string?

Keep it, you'll probably end up buying something not as good and will break just as much!

Defo keep it m8.In your previous thread you said you couldn't delete fault code.I take it you have run a proper VAGCOM diagnostics on it,not one of those cheapo Ebay handheld pieces of crap.Which part of the exhaust is falling off ?

Its the intake that has the fault i changed the maf and it stil givs me problems plus suckin too much fuel its like drivin a 3.0 and it has hardly any power, the revs die down one off when they feel like. No mech rpund here can figure it out i had the maf changed and the car it came off was runninspot on. And my aftermarket exhaust keeps fallin off pisses me off too much ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Have you tried the air intake temperature sensor. It plugs into the side of the air filter box.Which part of the exhaust if falling off ie backbox, middle box or all of it.?
