« on: 08 February 2013, 08:58 »
hiya all,

Oks i serviced my car last weekend all filters etc. and have been driving eco, well eco for me since trying to make my fuel last a but longer, on the Clocks (i know there not the most accurate thing) been getting 40-50mpg eco (its the baby 90bhp) when normally get 30-35mpg on A and B roads but i seam to be putting more fuel in and not getting meanly miles outa it.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Mike

Only real way its to brim it from tank to tank and work it out the old fashioned way.

I find that the more frugal I try to drive, the WORSE my economy is.  By tootling around you are actually not using the engine at its most efficient  :nerd:

e.g my car is just as fuel efficient at 70-75mph as it is at 60mph.  At 70-75mph my engine is closer to its peak torque
