what have i done?

hi folks, finally got around to hoovering my car at the week-end and i found a button underneath the seatbelt on the door side, so i decided to press it. what have i done?
its yello the noo but it goes red for 3seonds
the servis book says nothing about this,unless its maybe me thats wrong.

The top part switches off your alarm interior sensors.

The lower part disables the anti-tilt sensors.
Just found the perfect GTi...

Once you lock and unlock the car, these reset to default

the button is designed I believe if and when you leave a dog or child (heaven forbid) in the car and it stops the alarm going off!

nowt wrong with leaving kids in the car. Especially if you have driven to get them to sleep. Teething can be a b1tch! But don't leave them overnight they can be cranky when they wake up in a cold dark car :laugh:

And yes they do reset after locking/unlocking.

what a brilliant idea, only bought my golf 8 months ago 2nd hand and i am still lerning about it.
considering i used to drive a 04 mgtf the mk5 golf is quality what with the i-pod connector and all the cubby holes and that.but the roof disnae cum aff
