Feels like is snaking at the rear in a bend? As if the rear wheels are steering?

If yes to them questions its rear beam mounts

Knackered rear bushes coupled with crap dampers are my bet.

Sounds like mine and handling went to pot as you describe as normallys hugs corners at speed. Ended up being a leaking shock on near side. Easy to check for leaks visually. I upgraded to gas shocks after the cheaper replacement ones from GSF gave up the ghost on one side after just 3 months. Worth buyng OEM quality rather than the cheap ones if paying for someone else to fit as the cost is in the fitting with shock prices for non OEM very reasonable IMO.

double check your axle bushes while your there.... if failing these can wear your shocks really fast as it twists the shockers!!

Had this on mine last year - going round corners, the arse end would skip out when going over bumps. Nearly sh*t myself a few times.

A new pair of dampers (shocks) sorted it.
