Looks stunning in that colour Shaun, love the first pics...
Glad your enjoying it fella...
And yeah if you don't mind cud you put some more lighter interior pics...
friends were telling me that I'd regret the colour as it's a bit "old man like". However I really like it as I doubt it will be popular and when the sun catches it, it's actually very nice. The main plus side is that I haven't washed it yet and apart from brake dust on the wheels it still looks pretty clean. In this weather, black would be fecked in one drive!
Pictures coming in a bit.
looks good, the inside is mental.
Want mine!
Awww, I know the feeling. I've heard that there's been some sort of delays at the ports this week, too.

Lovely colour, looks great. Bet you'll be making lots of (un)necessary journeys
Long route to everywhere so far!
It is nice BUT that pic with it next to the blue Mk6 just says to me how similar they are from the front and the back. We VW geeks can tell the difference but your average bod on the street wouldn't have a clue.
Still, I've bought Car magazine on Thursday as they have the first full test drive of the GTi - haven't read it yet so it'll be interesting to see what the verdict is.
You really have to see it in person to appreciate it. I thought like you did a little until it turned up. If I had a MK5 and knew what the seven would be like, I would have skipped the 6. It looks lower, wider, longer and more aggressive front and rear, not one inch is identical to it's predecessor but it certainly is a safe play on design. Personally I think this is the REAL MK6 as it shares nothing with the 5. They've done a sterling job on it, however, as said before I am a tad bored of looking it already but inside and driving it is where this car's at.
I really like that colour on the SE/GT
glad you like the drive mate, is it easy to put faith in the ACC? And does it still have the lighting onto the centre console from near the rear view mirror?
I was messing with the ACC/ADC within 10 minutes of driving it, you find yourself hovering over the brake pedal to begin with but then I was on an A road.
After a long motorway trip on Friday (it's first), I found this system to be worth the car's weight in Gold, total faith in it and made M6 traffic the most painless it's ever been. I would highly recommend you keep your wits about you at all times just in case though.
No light above the console. To be honest though, with all the gadgets in there giving off so much light I doubt you would even notice it if it was.
The inside looks great. What specs did you go for again?
This car is SE Spec. I added the 2 litre 150 TDI Motor, the DSG box, Steering Wheel Gearshift Paddles and Metallic Paint. Note that the luggage net in the pics below is not from this car. (stole it from a previous vehicle)
