New rubber on the front  :cool:  Thankfully no damage to the alloys (other than that previously self inflicted) :whistle:  Just need to clean the grease from the edges and slap a bit of tyre dressing on.

Took it into the dealers for it's 3rd service, first MOT and to have a new alloy fitted under warranty.

Was expecting to get the usual Up! or Polo as a courtesy car, but got an Audi TT, which was a nice surprise. The TT cabin is a nice place to be, but I think I prefer my Golf's interior. Still, it's nice to have something a bit different to drive for the day.  :smiley:

Put a dent in the driver's door sill  :angry:  Getting out of the car this morning, dropped a full aluminium water bottle, it hit the sill and bounced off leaving a dent.......if only I had sill protectors  :rolleyes:

Three little dings now, time to call out the PDR guy me thinks.

wind deflectors just arrived.   5 minute job to fit them and personally on my black model think they look good. I have a 3 door and will try post some pics but dont think it looks too chavy etc.      :rolleyes:


everyone has there own opinions but a seen them on a red model and they looked nice so just had to try them out on mine!   havent took the sticky glue off yet incase i change my mind.

I have the wind deflectors too (were on the car when I bought it)...love them! Who cares what anyone else thinks as long as you like them...lol!

Phew!  Charlie, you obviously need to clean it more then to keep yourself in check.  Not that there's anything wrong with a Passat, is there Dubber?
