I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

Any reason why you didn't get this one off amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-350V5C-15-6-inch-Laptop-Silver/dp/B009SJCX5Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1357050993&sr=8-1

I was researching laptops for my sister and settled on the above (with Win7) from Argos. Short answer is the 3530E is based on tech from 2011 and the 350 from 2012. Though otherwise the same and pretty much capable.

So, got this... http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/samsung-series-3-3530e-15-6-laptop-17056557-pdt.html
Your thoughts...

Samsung is a good product and the only thing you might want to buy is a lap cooler with fans just to keep things cooler. The turbo app tends to throttle like my uncles and I find it needs regular blowing out with compressed air to keep it cooling better. Not a bad laptop I would rather stick win7 pro than win8 if it has no touch screen on it.
But thats a personal choice TBF.
