Car went in this morning to have the down pipe fitted and Revo Stage 2 map.
During the removal of the oem down pipe they have managed to snap two of the bolts meaning that they are unable to refit the down pipe and will now have to drill out the two snapped bolts from the turbo, weren't able to get this down this morning as they shut at 1pm.
Question is, am I liable for this additional labour as its 'one of those things which could happen' or is it a case of their mistake/risk when doing the job therefore their cost to put right, looking for legal response rather than emotional response if possible?
At the moment I am livid as I haven't been given any idea of cost or timescales to put car right due to their current bookings, I was dealing with the mechanics mind and not the manager who I will ring first thing Monday morning.
Your thoughts/input would be appreciated as this is new territory for me, but currently very disappointed.
Thanks guys.
