Lol

Just confused myself........

Immo off is £100 inc P&P.   I would not take the risk of loading a map in there without seeing the car.

if the mapped ecu is from another AGU then you can just adapt it to your immobiliser with vcds. If its not an AGU/m3.8 ecu then its not going to work on your car at all. Whats the part number on it?

thats AGU alright that should code in fine. I'm sure there's a couple of members up your way with vcds (vagcom) that could help you adapt it to the car. Pop a request in the mk4 section

All I did with mine was to clear out the ECU coding, recode the keys to the ECU (I think I only had to do this as I have immo3 clocks) fire up the car and job done

Install the new ECU in the car
    [Select]
    [17 - Instruments]
    [Adaptation - 10]
    Leave channel at "00"
    [Read]
    [Save]

    [Done, Go Back]
[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]
    [Exit]

Turn ignition OFF for 15 seconds. Start vehicle.

Or in my case, have the clocks beeping at you saying the immobiliser is active...
