You may make more money by doing things such as this:
Pick up some bog standard seats and fit them in your Mk3, Sell the Recaro seats separately.
If these are in good condition they may sell for more money than a standard Mk3.

Standard interiors are dirt cheap ,  even free sometime. The Recaro interior has got to be worth £150 min depending on condition.

You should make alot more that 250 quid !!

I got £80 for bare shell recently!! No panels wheels engine or interior

Recaros will be worth 300 if good order

Just depends if u can be arsed to strip it right down and sell everything

Maybe 250 if leather but this I think is a cloth set.
I agree he will make more than £250 if he can put the work in doing the stripping and posting etc.
AND get rid of the shell.

The  seats are the cloth type, they look like the standard black with the bits of colour in them and recaro sown in. I don't think I'll have the time for breaking it.

i dunno Len, iv seen those cloth ones go for LOTS.. ED38 is your best bet

what car you thinking to replace the mk3 with anyhow ?

The first two are the same as mine and those prices are gooood.  I not replacing it, the tax is up the end of this month and insurance next month, I haven't got the funds to renew and I don't want it sitting there wasting away.
