My car cost a shade over £300 to supply the Eibachs, fit them and do a 4 wheel laser alignment on one of those fancy machines with the mirror on each wheel, thought that was very reasonable.

Dealer has just quoted 4 hrs @ £60 per hour, that sounds expensive to me?

Take it to Midland VW man, not even far from you, you'd be silly not to  :wink:

You know what, didn't even give that a thought! I'll get Xmas out of the way and get onto it.

If your giving him a call then ask whether he would do a discount for two as I would be interested in price for this.  Could always arrange to go up for a day and get them done if you would be interested.

I hope thats with an alignment, personally I would say that either option is 20-25% too expensive from my experience.

i think thats about the right price.

they will need a good 3 hours to fit so thats easily £150 or more for labour

Yeah it's about £50 cheaper than my dealer for VWR springs.
