missed the match too,  :(

but saw some of the high lights, looked like an awesome game.

ive been toying with the idea of starting league too or getting back into union, cant really see it happening though, broke my shoulder 4 years ago playing and havent really done any excersise since apart from the odd trip to the gym, pretty guting, after ten years of playing to end with a bone sticking out about an inch in a friendly match

sorry to hear that, injuries are always a b!tch! im currently in a cast after having to have an op to put some metal in me after braking my hand a few weeks ago

^^ That sucks major ass.

f**king sports, so 'good' for you yet so bad. I can only think of a few sports that you can do that isn't doing damage in one way or another. Like swimming...Borrrringggggg  :lipsrsealed:

Get involved in coaching perhaps, you could still enjoy it that way!

Didn't get to see it as I was moving, I would have loved to see NZ get smash!

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

It was an excellent match and me & my mate were going bananas at the tv.

We still believed the ABs would come back and beat us even at 70 minutes!!

........Oh dear.

You boys obviously haven't played both codes of the game. I'm a southern softie, so naturally 'Union' was my natural and ex-preferred choice, but after playing a couple of charity 'League' matches and then a season, I can honestly say it is a much more fun, fast paced, frenetic game. If you want pace, hard tackling and constant brutality play the northern version. If you want a more sedate pace, with a huge gulf in speed between forwards and backs then play 'Union'.

On topic - Great result for England, now its time to build on this. It very much echoes 2001 and the 'Woodward' era. Great to see the right decisions being made, hats off to Robshaw for that and again, hats off to Farrell for nailing everything. Whichever code I may prefer, Tuilagi is still my favourite player. Bring on the next few years......
