ummm cant see the germans accepting to cover a car in the uk:)

You're wrong.  They'll send out the AA if you break down in the UK.

ADAC are very big.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

If you give me a hand on getting coverage from them, then I will take it. I make a trip to the continent twice a year and then that would sort out all of my recovery problems.
I went to the web page, but my German is nicht so gut, so I can't make head or tails of it...yay...:)

Oh wish I had gotten your message earlier..I went with Chris Knott here in the UK...cost me £50 as they would not offer me the Europe wide that they have for £85..

I will definitely take ADAC next year....the UK companies charge an arm and a leg...and Germany is so much bigger. They make owning a car affordable..:)

Natwest also offer this. Its £12 a month, but includes breakdown, phone insurance, travel insurance,  blah blah blah etc etc......... What they don't tell you though, is that it is only for local breakdown. (within four miles of your home address!). When the mk3 died on the A38 near Taunton, I had to get my old dears husband to come from Bristol, and tow me back to Plymouth is his Pissrat.

Same here but with Halifax. Mine is UK wide and includes home start as well but anywhere else they tow to the nearest garage. Inlaws have Green Flag and they tow to anywhere in UK.
