heard back 2day and he has only got 924 ones which arent the same.. im gonna visit a few scrappies and stuff on my travels 2morro and i hope i get a result... one positive thing did happen though i found a mk1 campaign in met green been stored in  a garage for 6yrs... body is mint interior is spot on but engine needs rebuild, but 200quid is gonna be the deal on the table by the sounds of it.! so new project its gonna be totally original and minted then sold..

mk1 sounds cool! to be fair i was a bit shocked the porker handles were up that cheap. i've been looking on and off for a few years now and have only seen 1 set in a scrappy, which i missed out on!
they go on ebay for lots of chedder!!

yeh i have seen them go for top dollars aswell.. but i shall not give up 2 vw specialists in my area who are buddie have been given their orders to locate some !!

Porka breakers call them script door handles. tried every porsche breaker and they are gone

I know a guy whop has got an original mk1, one of the late models, stored in a garage whose dad owned it from new.....its only got about 50k on the clock and he takes it out once a week to keep everything ticking over!!!! man i wish i hadnt told him it would go for a fair bit with the condition it is in

the guy who owned this one thought he would let the car go down hill a bit and take it 2 vag for a new engine etc when he got the price he said...errrrr no il get rid of it!! its realy genuine and very tidy mint p-slots and only sign of rot was the passenger door at the bottom... il see what happens and if i win it il post some pics!
