the v6 golf's have never been proper hot hatches though, more like gt cars

R32 is a great looking beast and has a lot of grunt but just too damn heavy. a fat lass under 1500kg is always heavy no matter what the power. that engine is huge and heavy too and they understeer like a pig if you ask me. tax kills them these days.
VR6 had the same problem.
makes a lush engine note though  :smiley:

I owned a VR6 for 4 years and loved it, well once i fitted a suspension kit  :lipsrsealed:

Ebay have a few in stock :wink:

Doubt there is any new ones left? But if you can afford a brand new vr6 engine then a fully rebuilt one would cost considerably less

its most likely best to buy one along with the car,what would u pay for a mk3 that has everything up to date,how would u make sure ur not benig cheated.
