160k is not an concern, especially as you know the car.
But you have to do more than annual average mileage for a TDi to even start making sense (and even then its still a tractor [
]). I do 12k a year (so bang on average) and it would take me 2 years to get to a point to break even! I'll go in to numbers if any cares...
