You would think that.
But since your abs light is not coming on and the handbrake light is staying on. This points to rear abs sensor

Ah okay, me dad has a multi meter somewhere so investigate rear sensors when I have a chance

If you've had an ABS fault for some time the warning bulb may have burnt out.

just been out with the multi meter.

near side was showing reading of 1095
offside was showing reading of 1697

off side sensor needs doing then??

also had a look behind the abs light and gave it a poke and the abs light came straight back on.

still dont understand how it didnt come up in the fault scan tho??

Looks like it mate i think they should be between 1000 to 1300 kohms

But even tho you may have a faulty sensor. Handbrake light points to a problem with the biasing which is dangerous. So don't go heavy braking.

ah more possible issues lol. how would i go about checking if the bias system is working correctly?
is that somthing to do with the abs ecu??

Scan controller. If you replace sensors and the faults still don't clear, then it's the ABS ECU.
