How many miles do you get to a tank of fuel full to red?

Well i have never filled up my 89 16V

But i get about 100-110miles on £15 of normal unleaded (going to sainsburys soon to try there super)

Is that a K-star chip baby blue? need to do something to t'old girl because something ain't right any reccomendations of a garage ooop north (Yorkshire/Manchester) who can reset her brain and fettle with t'old girls wotnots?

Further refinement to the ecu fuel & iginition map has just given us a return of 380 miles to a tank last week, with approx 4 litres still left in the tank just short of a gallon, therefore it was on for a 400 mile return.

Most of this was mix driving, with a variety of roads. Our engine has now covered 157k with no real issues, I personally have put 23k on the car since buying it in Sept 2004, every mile has been enjoyable.

i get 220 in my 1.6 driver, its seriously overfueling, get about 260 on motorway

I thought I might have had it sorted by now but it goes like a train so I may well be looking at a trade off.
Gstar-Dubworld is that a 16v as I always thought the injection was mechanical so unchippable? ? I think we should have a chat

Other than that happy with it now as it's not a daily driver anymore it is a weekend and showtime "toy" so it's not as important but travelling to shows could be very pricey this year and RTTS is a remortgage job!!

still 200-250 a tank after a R/R session and an italian tuneup at York Dragway!!

My record in My 16valve was 380. In the 8 valve 450. But overall I find the 8v 10mpg better.

WhenI had the car back on the road last summer, i'm sure I was up around 330, but now its around 290? Maybe I need a tune? She does about 32MPG on the motorway 80-90, according to the MFA.

Sellers, yours is about the same as mine. I get average 250 miles to a tank if i drive miss daisy, or about 210-230 if i drive normally. 
Mines all been set up correctly and our cars have same sort of mods so must just be our heavy feet?!

average 320-330 to a full tank, its a 16v with k+n and full exhuast system, mostly short b road trips, i ran my car on tescos high octane a few weeks ago, the car hated it!! usually run on Shell opti!

89 8v, pretty much the same for me.... around the 320-350 mark. I am right in thinking that the tank is 55 litres? It's just I've got the fuel gauge down to the red a couple of times, when filling her up I get about 40 litres in there. Does the gauge err on the side of caution??
