Leather wear - seat bolster
« on: 18 September 2012, 14:09 »
Now I'm not a small fella by any stretch of the imagination so at 6'4" and 18 stone I know the seat bolster is going to wear differently to that of someone a lot smaller but what do you think is acceptable? the drivers seat door side bolster has kind of collapsed,it's not worn but the 'bucketed' design has taken a real hammering. I do try and lift myself over it cos my Rocco wore poorly too. She's booked in for a service in two weeks so I will get the stealer to take a look. Does anyone know what the warranty time is on interior trim or am I p!ss!ing against the wind?

Cheers

Ginge

I don't think it should of collapsed mate, my cloth ones are fine apart from some crinkled material my cars 2 and a half years old now.

You've seen me as well so you know i'm not a little bloke!

Take it in, your dealer seems to be quite cool so worth a shot.

Didn't Asker have his tarten seat repaired or replaced by the dealers?
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
