I watched the last 2 days on iplayer live and it was OK, it's the end of an era and he was good, the ratings prove it. He got cocky for a while and abused listeners but got smacked back into place and got better from then on. He's actually a nice guy and not at all like this show persona.

I used to listen to him every evening on the way home from work, then in the mornings after he took over the breakfast show.

BBC are making a huge mistake getting rid of the show.  Time will prove this.

The Beeb arent commercially driven so I doubt they will give a sh!t.  Your licence fee will still go up. Its just it will help fund some other worthless so called celebrity......

They still have to abide by the rules and regs. Radio 1 is 'licensed' (easiest way to explain it) as a 15-25 age range station and Moyles' show age range was 25-35 which obvious isn't what radio 1 are aiming for. 2 years 'holiday' @ £600k each, not bad

Rumour online is that he will be back in the 10pm-midnight slot in 2013.

That would be particularly unusual.  Not something I can remember happening before.

Start off dead of night, move to late evening, then afternoon slot, then morning, then out of it because you've saturated everyone's tolerance.

Yes, but I'd expect that from someone who doesn't know the difference between knew and new and to and too.

It might have gone differently if they'd got rid of "comedy" Dave a while back! What a waste of oxygen he is!

I was listening when the old producer Rachel was on the other day, i thought they made a mistake when she left but my god i was wrong! Her voice is so annoying and i'm from the midlands!!

Currently pootling around in our family wagen, a Tiguan SEL 😂

I think it would be interesting to hear Chris without his posse which would mean he'd have to play more music and  his musical taste is a bit dubious at times.

all Radio DJs seem to have a massive crew with them lately, whatever happened to just presenting a show yourself?
