How come on the American Apple site it states From $199 and on the UK site its from £529!!!! Rip off Britain

Bless.  Their prices are prices on a contract, as Apple US allow carriers to sell directly through their site. The UK price is a unlocked phone.

My opinion on the iPhone 5, meh. Really am not impressed. I have a 4 (not 4S) and won't upgrade. I may even consider an alternative and spread my wings.

Really dIsappointed to be honest. It doesn't seem to have a main feature, the 4 had retina display then the 4S had Siri. This is kind of a catch up rather than leading the field. It does look good though much better than the competition.

I went on sim only a few months ago so probably stick with my 3 year old 3GS for a while, even though the battery lasts half a day when it's used!

lets face it... new larger screen means new apps have to be developed and purchased by users = lots of tasty income for app developers and Apple too 

Apple aren't silly you know, keep everyone happy 

i'll probably move to Apple TV before I look to upgrade though.
