I've used mine pretty much all day and it is pretty damn quick. Much quicker than my 4 and that's throughout the range of apps on the phone, as well as the OS in general.

That's the dual Core American version, not the quad core international beast. It'll be good to get a benchmark with the quad core S3 and quad core htc one x, as those are the phones we use in the U.K.

I had a play with one in o2 and surprised to see it's almost as tall as the S3, nice and fluid, also full of cards in passbook. American store cards, doesn't help when were in the U.K.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

I'm surprised the One X has less bolloxs than the One S more than anything else there.

I'm guessing its the clock speed advancing the score.

First impressions are how much lighter it is compared to the 4. Feels like its not even in my hand.

It zips through the menus are a fair pace; typical Apple slickness.

Is it a massive upgrade?? Not in terms of appearance or functionality.  For me it just works fine though   plus i should have my 'spare' iPhone sometime this week through work

don't suppose you've had a chance to try out the 4G ness at all on EE? I noticed the other day when I was about that I was getting the EE signal, but obviously not 4G yet as I wasn't in the smoke
