Oil Sump

hey guys,

wondering if anyone got the Awesome sump fitted? i know theres hardly any difference in clearance but at the same time its reinforced and VW want £129 for it anyway so why not go the extra couple of quid right?

heard some where though that some one had an issue with the pick up pipe and had to adjust it some how but when i rang up awesome they said its a straight bolt off bolt on jobby?

I got one fitted mate nice bit of kit only had it on the car a couple of months abit more piece of mind with a steel bottom. The only problem with it is that it doesnt have a hole for the oil sensor but mines and AGU so it doesnt have a sensor. I didnt hear anything regarding the pickup pipe? was just fitment like for like and you get a new pickup pipe in the kit.

thats great cheers mate, i think the guy i spoke to said they have both types for the sensor but  need to check if AUM definatly have it

Quite sure AUM has the oil sensor in the sump mate as far as i know when i got mine from Awesome they never stocked the sumps with the oil level sensor fitment.
