After two day course to VW HQ we should be off to product launch in november......... So sept-October ordering

Two questions...

1. Is that for GTi Launch, or just mk7 Golf?

2. I assumme if its regular Golf 7 we are talking 2012, or do you mean Sep-Oct 2013 for GTi?

Just the mk7 golf launch I wouldn't expect the gti to be out for at least 6-9 months after normal mk7. So mid 2013 ish......

Gone: Mk7 R, 5dr, DSG, Limestone Grey, 19" Pretoria's, Nav Pro, DCC, Winter Pack, Keyless, Mobile Prep and Reversing Camera.
Gone: Mk6 GTD, 5dr, Manual, Tornado Red, 18" Vancouvers, RCD510 + Dynaudio, heated seats.

German press ae all reporting that the 'other models' GTI/GTD/R will all be out earlier in the lifetime of the mk7 cycle than has been before.

R is now rumoured to be hear sooner than end of 2013 release in Germany, so maybe 3rd Quarter.

Guess that could mean GTi out 1st or 2nd Quarter 2013 in Germany. Could make sense if a GTi is shown in concept form at Paris in September.

Sounds good if true.

If you know someone who works at a vw dealer its often good info for them to check the parts catalogue as it often tells them on the updates when new modes and engine versions will be available from.

The standard car is officially announced on the 4th September, this might contain further info regarding the GTI coming in Qx 2013.
