Thats exactly what VW will tell you mate, waste of time.
Get the actual codes up on here and we will have a look.

Im getting.....

17545/P1137/004407 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Rich
&
17705/P1297/004759 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)

As above so far I have...
  • Had new coil packs.
  • New Temp sensor.
  • New Termo
  • New DV
  • Full major service inc belt & water pump
  • New MAF
  • Repaired the faulty secondary air pump (thinking of replacing it)

After doing ALOT of reading, it could be a number of things, injectors, Boost leak in a pipe I cannot see, Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249) faulty, N75 faulty, dirt thorttle body (doubt it), Fuel Pressure Regulator faulty, Lamba sensor faulty.

As you can see im at the point where i could spend a good ammount of cash o id rather find the error and apposed to trail and error lol

Ditch all the breather pipework and install a catch can.

Your pressure drop code is most likely related to a pipe with a split you cannot see as per the post above

OKie dokie I'll look into a catch can when im paid, could someone tell me exactly what I need to order to do this mod please?

Also on the way to work today my car cut out Twice!! but restarted afterwards only light of the dash was my batt light  it was worrying once when i slowed down at the lights and other was when I slowed down for a roundabout. both time happened when i dipped the clutch

Heres a random question, can you do a throttle body allinement using VDS lite? cuz im thinking of cleaning my thottlebody you see but mine is the eletronic one so it will need realligning.

Take throttle body off, clean it with carb cleaner or similar.
Put everything back on,
Turn key but dont start,
You will hear the throttle body whine for about 20secs,
Leave it until it stops,
I done this twice and then start.
The whine is the throttle body aligning itself.
1.6-1.8t AGU K03s, Forge actuator, Forge 007p, turbo back exhuast, Ths front mount, Catch can, 5 piece silicone boost pipes and creation sports tip. Stage 2 atm 232bhp 270lbs. Waiting for custom mapping :-)

Well I got VDS lite and an eBay cable when I scan I get two error codes one is something about bank 1 running rich and the other one is the famous turbo pressure blah blah check DV!!

Mad thing is I've checked and tryed loads and still the errors are there. It's had new mag, new DV all boost pipes I have checked even taken some off, fixed the secondary air pump new coil packs full service only other things I'm thinking is injectors? Or even a pip split that I haven't yet found

not to sound daft but you are clearing the codes after arent you??
