Back on the road!!
« on: 03 July 2005, 23:49 »
After 6 weeks out of action with a blown heater matrix, my mate finished off the replacement tonight (not a nice job by the way). Took her out for a quick spin and loved it. I'd forgotten how much fun she is!!

6 weeks to do a heater matrix? not bad if you ask me! Mine's needed doing on my white golf since i got it....... nearly 2 years ago! 2 winters i've driven it with no heating whatsoever, It was so bad! it used to get condensated then freeze on the inside. Think it will have to be done before this winter???

That is quite slow tho...
2 years for a heater matrix!
I did my head gasket and timing in 3 days flat! But then I guess the matrix isn't quite as critical as the gasket!
